Does the library have hotspots?
Answer
Hotspots will be completely phased out by the end of Summer 2024.
For other hotspot/internet help:
- Students can request internet help from GCC Cares. GCC Cares may be able to provide assistance via their intake form (check box for internet and computer technology)
- See this link for low-cost internet access: https://www.internetforallnow.org/offers/low-cost-plans
- Anyone with a free Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL) card can request hotspots using their Tech2Go program: https://www.lapl.org/tech2go/mobile-hotspots. The closest Tech2Go LAPL branch to GCC is the Eagle Rock Branch (323/258-8078).
- If you have a library card, place hold for hotspot
- Pre-register for a library card (pick up within 15 days)
